Privacy Policy
This site is run by one person, and it collects as little about you as it can while still working. This page explains exactly what that means. It is written to satisfy the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies to me regardless of where you are reading from.
Who is responsible

What is collected, and why
If you join the email list
When you submit a form on this site to receive the exit strategy or any other free material, I collect your email address and, where the form asks for it, your first name. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form.
That data is used for two things: sending you the material you asked for, and sending you my letter roughly twice a month covering breakout trading, my own results and mistakes, and occasionally my paid products. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately and permanently. You do not need to email me or explain why.
Your email address is not sold, rented, traded or shared with anyone for their own marketing purposes. Ever.
If you just read the site
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel and no advertising network on it. Aggregate traffic statistics (page views, country, referring site, browser) are collected by Cloudflare in a form that does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. My legitimate interest here is knowing which chapters people actually read.
Cloudflare, which serves this site, also processes your IP address briefly for security and delivery — the same way any web host must in order to send you a page at all.
Who else processes your data
I use a small number of established providers. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and each is used only for the purpose listed.
GetResponse (Poland, EU) stores the email list and sends the emails. Cloudflare (USA, with EU data processing commitments) hosts and delivers the site. Google Fonts serves the two typefaces used here. If you follow a link from this site to my book, to Breakout Trading Academy or to BreakoutOS, you leave this site and that destination's own privacy policy applies from that point.
Embedded video
Where a YouTube video appears on this site it is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies unless you press play. If you press play, Google's privacy policy applies to that playback.
How long data is kept
Your email address is kept for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, GetResponse retains a minimal suppression record — your email address and nothing else — so that the system knows never to contact you again. Aggregate traffic statistics are retained by Cloudflare on their standard schedule and are not linked to you.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to ask what data I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to have it exported in a portable format, to restrict how it is used, and to object to its use. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. There is no charge, and I will not ask you to justify the request.
Children
This site is aimed at adult traders. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has subscribed, email me and I will delete the record.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. I do not run a database, do not store payment details, and do not hold any customer records on this site — subscriber data lives inside GetResponse under their security controls.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, I will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how your data is used, say so in the newsletter rather than changing it quietly.

Separate from privacy, but worth repeating: nothing on this site is investment advice or a solicitation to trade. It is my personal experience, offered for education. Trading futures carries substantial risk of loss.
